International branding expert and business leader, Rita Clifton has worked with many of the world’s leading companies on their brand strategy and from national start-ups to mature global corporations across all sectors.

A graduate of Cambridge University, Rita began her career in advertising, rising through the ranks to take on the role of Vice-Chair and Strategic Director at Saatchi and Saatchi before later becoming CEO and Chairman of Interbrand and co-founder and chair of BrandCap, a brand consultancy company.

She has a highly impressive portfolio of non-executive roles to her credit which include working with such companies as Dixon’s Retail Plc, EmapPlc and currently ASOS, Nationwide Building Society and Ascential Plc in addition to her involvement with the WWF (Word Wildlife Fund for Nature) and the Market Research Association. She has also served on the UK Government’s Sustainable Development Commission.
