An icon in the culinary world, Mary is famed for her recipes and cooking tips the world over. She trained at The Cordon Bleu in Paris and Bath School of Home Economics and went on to become cookery editor on such magazines as Housewife and Ideal Home magazine. 

Mary first took to our television screens in the 70’s presenting Afternoon Plus alongside Judith Chalmers. The show proved extremely popular with Mary later presenting shows from her own home in addition to launching her own cookery school. 

In the mid 90’s her daughter Annabel launched Mary Berry’s Salad Dressing which has ultimately led to a whole range of cooking sauces, dressings and other culinary/kitchen based products, equipment and textiles. 

With numerous cookery books and television shows to her credit, it is difficult to single out any one of her major career achievements although she will always be loved and remembered for her role as judge on The Great British Bake Off for the BBC. Other television credits include; Mary Berry Every Day, Mary Berry’s Country House Secrets, Classic Mary Berry, Britain’s Best Home Cook and of course The Junior Bake Off, Comic Relief Bake Off, Sports Relief Bake Off and Mary Berry Cooks. Mary continues to make guest appearances on such programmes as Graham Norton, Loose Women, The One Show and Women’s Hour as well take part in cookery demonstrations and events on a regular basis.
