More

A successful property agent in her own right, Kirstie is probably best known as the presenter alongside Phil Spencer on Location, Location, Location and A Place In The Country. Kirstie has also hosted on the equally popular spin off programmes, Relocation, Relocation and Location Revisited as well as The Property Chain and Kirstie’s Home-Made Home for Channel 4.

Unquestionably influenced by her parents whose father worked at Christies auctioneers for over 40 years and whose mother was a picture framer turned interior designer, Kirstie showed an early interest in property and tasteful interior design.

She was further inspired working alongside interior designer Nicky Haslam in her first ‘proper job’ and later went on to set up her own home search company, Kirmir in 1996, focusing on top end purchases in Central and West London, thus developing her passion for property, buying, selling, renovation and decorating.

With her reputation growing, Kirstie was then approached by a Scottish television production company and her working partnership with Phil Spencer began.

In addition to her success presenting the aforementioned programmes alongside Phil, Kirstie has also presented several series dedicated to her design talents including, Kirstie’s Homemade Christmas and Kirstie’s Handmade Britain.

Aside from her television appearances, Kirstie has presented on regular radio slots and written for a variety of leading property and lifestyle magazines and national newspapers. She also launched Moving Sense, her own range of home accessories.

In 2010 Kirstie and Phil combined their talents on a different front, creating their own production company Raise the Roof with Sarah Walmsley and Jane Muirhead.

An ambassador for Home Start UK and Keep Britain Tidy, Kirstie is also involved with the charities Changing Faces and The Princes’ Regeneration Trust

An accomplished speaker, Kirstie is a popular choice on the corporate circuit where she is available for conference and after dinner speaking, awards hosting and personal appearances.
