More

After a successful career acting in film and television, Jeremy moved behind the camera to make his own films and in 1999 founded the non-profit making organization, Peace One Day, the purpose of which was to document his efforts in establishing the first annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence with a fixed date. In September 2001, as a result of Jeremy’s efforts, a General Assembly resolution was unanimously adopted by UN member states.

His work was to culminate in Jeremy becoming a multi-peace award winner having been bestowed with the Lennon-Ono Grant for Peace, the IVCA Fellowship and the Carnegie-Wateler Peace Prize to name but a few.

He has subsequently written a children’s book on the subject entitled The Making of World Peace Day, illustrated by Pulitzer Prize-winner Karen Blessen.

In 2018 Jeremy launched Impact Profile, an application providing a central hub for individuals wishing to measure and showcase their social media contribution and its effect, thereby inspiring others to follow suit, or to put it another way – social media for social good!

An enthusiastic and inspirational speaker, he has spoken at a number of high-profile conferences including giving the closing speech at TED Global, a talk at the 3rd annual One Young World Summit and the TEDx Bermuda.

Topics of speech cover social and humanitarian issues, entrepreneurship, motivation, leadership, team building, overcoming adversity, politics and world affairs.
