James Caan CBE is one of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs. He is probably best known as a former panellist on the hit BBC show Dragons’ Den and for presenting the Business Class on CNBC.

During his career, he has founded, developed and successfully sold a number of recruitment businesses such as Alexander Mann, Humana International and Human Capital Investment Group, in addition to being responsible for generating over £1billion worth of revenue in the recruitment sector.

Since 2005, James has mainly been achieving this by investing in recruitment businesses and entrepreneurs through his private equity business Hamilton Bradshaw, which manages a portfolio of over 30 companies.

He has also served as Chairman of the Government’s Start Up Loans scheme, where he helped create 28,000 new businesses for the UK economy and these businesses employed over 41,000 people and launched the property venture, HB Real Estate, targeting London residential and commercial real estate assets.

James is a keen supporter of many charities and set up The James Caan Foundation in 2006 predominantly to help underprivileged children get access to education. He also sat as a judge on the Salesforce World Tour Dreampitch competition.

As an author, James has written a number of best-selling books, his autobiography, The Real Deal, a publication based on his 30 year career experience entitled Get the Job You Really Want and Start Your Business in 7 Days. He has also launched a free App, James Caan Business Secrets, dedicated to supporting small businesses. Not surprisingly the App is proving to be a huge success.
