An expert in the field of fruit and veg, Gregg is best known as co-presenter on Masterchef, Celebrity Masterchef and Masterchef: The Professionals. He was also the original presenter of Saturday Kitchen. Other credits include Eat Well For Less and Inside The Factory, Harvest and Supermarket Secrets.  He was also the subject of Who Do You Think You Are. As an author books include; Gregg’s Favourite Puddings, Eat Well For Less and Life on a Plate:The Autobiography.

Born in Peckham, South East London, Gregg began his career working on the world’s famous Covent Garden fruit and vegetable market before starting George Allen’s Greengrocers, a company that became a multi-million-pound turnover concern.

As a result of his business success, Gregg was invited to co-present on BBC Radio 4’s programme, Veg Talk and later became the original host of Saturday Kitchen on BBC 1.

Now best known for co-presenting Masterchef, Celebrity Masterchef and Masterchef:The Professionals on BBC 1 and 2, Gregg has numerous other television credits to his name including; Eat Well For Less, Inside The Factory, Turn Me Back, Supermarket Shopping Secrets, Harvest and the Travelog series Weekend Break with Gregg Wallace.

Television guest appearances include; Who Do You Think You Are, Richard Osman’s House of Games, The One Show and The Great British Bake Off:An Extra Slice.

In addition, Gregg has hosted his own live tour and frequently stages talks and food demonstrations at festivals up and down the country.

A prolific writer on the subject of food, Gregg has published a variety of books including one on a particular favourite topic, puddings! Others include information on cooking on a budget, recipes and Masterchef tips. His autobiography, Life On A Plate was published in 2012.
