Frequently acknowledged as being the toughest judge on Strictly Come Dancing, Craig is a dancer, choreographer, writer and theatre producer of great repute. Flamboyant and charismatic, his performing credits include roles in; Cats, Miss Saigon, Crazy For You and Annie all in London’s West End. He is also an asset when it comes to appearing in pantomime, most notably as The Wicked Queen in Snow White. Directing, writing and choreography credits include; tours of Strictly, Chess for which he received a Best Musical Award nomination, West Side Story, Sister Act and the feature film Paddington 2.

Frequently acknowledged as being the toughest judge on Strictly Come Dancing, Craig is a dancer, choreographer, writer and theatre producer of great repute. Flamboyant and charismatic, Craig began his professional training in his hometown of Ballarat in Australia, later moving to Melbourne where he appeared in such productions as West Side Story, Me and My Girl, The Danny LA Rue Show and LA Cage Aux Folles. He also gained experience in pantomime and on numerous product commercials.
Prior to landing on British soil, Craig spent a year on mainland Europe as a dancer at the Lido Du Paris and singer in Formidable at The Moulin Rouge. Just twelve months later, Craig found himself touring in various productions around the UK, ultimately going on to star in London West End shows such as Cats, Miss Saigon, Crazy For You and Annie.
Over the years, directing, choreographing and writing credits have included; tours of Strictly, the musical Chess for which he received a Best Musical Award nomination, Son of a Preacher Man, Sister Act and the feature film Paddington 2. In fact, Craig’s work in choreography has taken him all over the world from America to South Africa.
