More

Naturalist, nature photographer, television presenter and author, Chris Packham graduated from the University of Southampton with a BSc in Zoology after which he abandoned his plans for further education in favour of training as a wildlife cameraman. He went on to become a camera assistant with the BBC, twice being voted Wildlife Photographer of the Year before turning his attention to presenting.

Perhaps best known for his work on the BAFTA award-winning Really Wild Show, Chris later joined forces with Michaela Strachan and Martin Hughes-Game to present SpringWatch and AutumnWatch. Other television credits include; Inside Out and Nature’s Calendar in which he explored wildlife and natural history the year round, Nature Detectives, The Great British Birdwatch, Nature’s Weirdest Events, Operation Iceberg, The Burrowers, Secrets of Our Living Planet, The Wonder of animals and the London Wildlife Challenge.

Away from presenting, Chris holds a variety of roles with a number of wildlife and conservation trusts and has toured the length and breadth of the country on theatre tours with his live shows.

Chris is available as a presenter, after dinner speaker and awards host.
