A dancer and choreographer, AJ Pritchard first came to the public eye on Britain’s Got Talent before becoming a regular professional dancer on BBC TV’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2016. Despite being confirmed for a fifth series in 2020, AJ has opted to leave the series in order to pursue a career in presenting. Other TV appearances include; Celebrity Masterchef, Celebrity Hunted and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
AJ Pritchard first came to the public eye as a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent along with his partner Chloe Hewitt reaching the live semi-finals but he is undoubtedly best known for his appearances as one of the professional dancers on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. AJ joined the series in 2016 competing until 2019. During his four series on the show, AJ only once failed to reach the semi-finals but despite having being invited back for a fifth series in 2020, decided to leave in pursuit of a career in presenting.
Other TV appearances have included such shows as Celebrity Masterchef, the celebrity version of Hunted in aid of Stand Up to Cancer fund and as a guest choreographer on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK
