More

One of the most colourful characters in the world of darts, Wayne Mardle is a former player for the BDO.

Wayne began playing darts at the age of eleven, entering his first competition when he was thirteen. He made his lakeside debut in 2000, going on to reach the semi -finals. During his playing career, Wayne has competed against and beaten, the best in the business reaching 5th in the world rankings, although his form has proved inconsistent. This did not detract from him becoming one of the most popular players on the circuit, renowned for his brightly coloured Hawaiian shirts (which he began wearing for a bet), and his interval dance moves.

In 2011, Wayne made his debut as a commentator on Sky Television for the PDC World Darts Championships, working alongside the legendary Sid Waddell. Since then, Wayne has become a regular with the Sky darts commentating team working not only as a commentator but analyser and pundit. He also entertains crowds during the intervals in his own inimitable style encouraging audience interaction.

Well informed, articulate and confident, Wayne is a popular choice on the corporate circuit whether it be at an after dinner event or on the golf course. He is available for conferences, exhibitions and product launches.
