Knighted for his incredible achievement of winning five Olympic Gold Medals rowing in five consecutive Olympic Games, Sir Steve Redgrave has since carved a highly successful career for himself in the world of PR. One of the greatest Olympians in living history Sir Steve competed as a rower at five consecutive Olympic Games between 1984 and 2000 winning Gold at each games. In addition to this he won no less than nine World Championships titles from 1984 to 1999. Other rowing honours include the Henley Royal Regatta Diamond Sculls and a Triple Commonwealth Gold Medallist in Edinburgh winning in the single scull, Coxless Pairs and Coxed Four.

With a keen interest in winter sports, Sir Steve was a member of the British Bobsleigh Team in the 1989/90 season. Other sporting interests include golf.

A world record holder alongside rowing partner Sir Matthew Pinsent from 1994 until 2002, Sir Steve’s achievements are made all the more impressive by the fact he triumphed over adversity winning the battle against diabetes and colitis.

Away from the water, Sir Steve now enjoys a successful career in the media and on the corporate front. He is a popular television presenter an analyst working as a member of the BBC teams for the Olympics and rowing events including the World and European Championships
