Shaun Murphy began his professional snooker career at the age of 15 in 1997. His rise to fame was nothing short of meteoric and he has remained in the top ten snooker player rankings ever since.

2000/2001 proved to be a pivotal year for Shaun being named World Snooker Player of Distinction and the World Snooker Newcomer of the Year having taken two championship titles.

2002 saw Shaun enter the World Snooker Championships for the first time. Having received training form former world Champions such as Willie Thorne, Steve Prest and Ray Reardon it is not surprising that Shaun has gone on to win such titles as the UK Championship, the World Open, the Malta Cup and of course the World Championship which he won in 2005.

Away from competition, Shaun has forged himself a successful career as a speaker where he not only speaks but offers advice to his audiences. He also contributes to exhibition matches and fundraising charity events.

In his presentations, Shaun reflects on his multiple century breaks and the development of his career. His speeches and demonstrations are fascinating, motivational, moving and above all entertaining, delivered with a liberal sprinkling of humour. His topics cover sporting success, personal development and snooker.

Available as an after dinner speaker, motivational speaker and for exhibition matches worldwide.
