Ruth Langsford is one of the UK’s most recognized and popular television presenters in the media today, currently presenting alongside husband Eamonn Holmes on ITV’s flagship programme This Morning on Friday mornings and as a member of the team on Loose Women. She has also covered for Lorraine on GMTV and co-hosted How the Other Half Lives and Do the Right Thing also alongside husband Eamonn.

Ruth began her career at ITV in the West Country where she presented the early evening news before progressing to her own chat show. She later moved to the BBC hosting shows on BBC 1 and 2 as well as gaining experience on a number of digital channels.

Highly experienced on the lifestyle front, she has hosted on Food Network Daily, Gardens of the Millennium, The Travel Shop, Cruise Deals, Granada Breeze, Gift Wrapped, 

Ruth’s passion for cooking has seen her appear on such programmes as Ready Steady Cook, Ten Mile Menu and Market Kitchen as well as host a number of TV cookery competitions. Herself also a keen gardener, she has presented The Great British Garden Show and Gardens of the Millennium in addition to the quiz show, The Answer Lies in the Soil. 

Among other interests, Ruth lists fashion, DIY and sewing.

Versatile in the extreme, voice-over work has seen Ruth narrate on documentaries, corporate videos and radio commercials in addition to fronting high profile commercial campaigns including two major food campaigns for Tesco and the re-launch of Playtex. She is also an accomplished conference host and columnist  for such publications as Woman and Tesco magazines.
