Paula Pryke is a world-renowned florist who has been based in London for nearly thirty years. With an enviable ‘A’ list clientele, her cutting edge floral designs have been embraced all over the world including Japan, America, India, Korea, and China and she has been instrumental in changing the face of British floristry. She has written numerous books on the subject and runs her own floristry school. Paula is in demand for lectures and demonstrations across Europe, America and Asia.

World renowned florist Paula Pryke is London based and has been since her dream of opening a little flower shop in Islington became a reality in 1988.

From these humble beginnings she changed the face of British floristry with a reputation for cutting edge innovative floral designs, attracting international attention and a ‘A List clientele.  

Paula Pryke Flowers is now in constant demand to design flowers for everything from weddings and dinner parties to press launches, award ceremonies and government and state functions.

With her style originally embraced in Japan and America, she is now influencing floral design whilst working in Korea, China, India and South America, establishing her globally as one of the world’s top florists.

Paula has written a number of books which are sold internationally and have been translated into over 13 languages. Among her latest are Wedding Flowers and Floristry Now:Flower Design and Inspiration.

She also writes for many magazines and is often seen on television in the UK and abroad. In 2004 she trained several ex-cons to open their own flower shop for Channel 4’s One Last Job. 

Awarded an OBE in the 2014 Queen's Birthday Honours List for services to the Floristry Industry in recognition of distinguished and valuable service.

Paula is in regular demand across Europe, America and Asia for her lectures and floral demonstrations. It is from these areas that she bases her world-famous flower schools the first of which opened in 1994.  Her prestigious internationally acclaimed ‘Career Course’ has become something of a blueprint for flower courses offering a unique in-road into floristry for frustrated florists considering a career change as Paula herself once did.
