Multi award-winning freelance financial journalist, Paul Lewis is an expert on personal finance and authority on financial consumer rights. He is perhaps best known for presenting the BBC Radio 4 programme, Money Box and makes frequent appearances on BBC Breakfast, the News Channel and on a variety of other programmes for Radio 4.

Paul considers that Money Box is broadcast to make a real difference to the finances of its listeners and provide a useful and trusted source of information and news.

He is a prolific writer on personal finance and money matters and is the author of a number of books including; Live Long and Prosper, Beat the Bank, Pay Less Tax, The Complete Money Plan for the over fifties, Can you Claim It? Your Taxes and Savings, Making Your Money Work and Money Magic. He is also credited with writing advice and money news for SAGA magazine and has been a regular contributor on The Daily Telegraph and Reader’s Digest.

His awards include; a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of British Insurers, Headline Money Journalist of the Year 2010, Association of Investment companies Broadcaster of the Year and has been named Consumer Pension and Investment Journalist of the Year.

Away from money matters, Paul is a renowned authority on the Victorian writer, Wilkie Collins.
