Having established himself as a recognized expert in the field of sustainable architecture, Oliver has been involved in a number of sustainably related design projects on varying scales for the likes of Barrett Homes, community centres, restaurants and similar schemes. The Founder of Oliver Heath Design, global experts in biophilic design, Oliver is also experienced in the media. He has presented on and contributed to several television shows including BBC’s DIY SOS where his show was BAFTA nominated. He is the author of a number of books on the subject and is in great demand as a speaker at conferences and seminars.

Oliver Heath studied architecture at university and went on to work in exhibition and set design prior to becoming the BBC Young Designer of the Year in the late 1990’s.

Now a recognized expert in the field of sustainable architectural and interior design, he set up his first practice, Blustin Heath Design alongside business partner Nikki Blustin working on a number of sustainable projects on a variety of scales for the likes of Barrett Homes. He went on to front Heath Design Ltd, continuing to work on various similar schemes including; community centres, restaurants, domestic and commercial design projects.

In 2006, Oliver co-founded EcoCentric.co.uk an online ethical retailer dedicated to interiors reflecting his own unique style and filled a niche in the market for well-designed, co-ordinated sustainable products for the home. As a recognized authority and trusted voice, qualified Domestic Energy and Green Deal Assessor, Oliver regularly acts in an advisory capacity and spokesperson for the UK’s Department for Energy and Climate Change, the Energy Saving Trust and the Waste Resources Action Programme in addition to hosting seminars, conferences, events and awards ceremonies.

With strong media and presentation skills, Oliver has presented on numerous television programmes including BBC’s DIY SOS. Other credits include; Changing Rooms, Home Front, Heaven and Earth and Dream Homes. 

He is the author of a number of books and a regular contributor to various publications such as The Guardian, The Sunday Times and House Beautiful.
