Nadiya rose to fame after winning the Great British Bake off in 2015. Now a regular columnist for The Times, author of a number of cookery books and television presenter, her TV credits include; Nadya’s Family Favourites, Nadiya’s British Food Adventure, The Big Family Cooking Showdown, Chronicles of Nadiya, Junior Bake Off, and. She has also made guest appearances as a reporter and panelist on The One Show and Loose Women in addition to publishing several best-selling cookery books. She has also received commissions from; Disney, The London Dungeon and Buckingham Palace. Nadiya is an accomplished presenter and conference speaker.

With a captivating smile and sparkling personality, Nadiya Hussain is the 2015 winner of The Great British Bake Off, her amazing creations and enthusiasm, wowing judges. Add to the mix a large helping of wit and warmth and you have the perfect recipe for one of the UK’s favourite celebrity bakers.

Since winning the competition, Nadiya has become a regular contributor to BBC‘s The One Show, presented the Chronicles of Nadiya for which she was nominated for a prestigious RTS Award for Breakthrough Presenter. In addition to hosting her own cookery show, Nadiya’s British Food Adventure and a major new show, The Big Family Cooking Showdown. In 2016, Nadiya became one of the judges on Junior Bake Off for CBBC alongside Allegra McAvedy with hosts Sam and Mark. 

In 2016, Nadiya wrote her first children’s book, Bake Me A Story and also wrote Nadiya’s kitchen for adults. Further books have followed including; Nadiya’s British Food Adventure and her second kids’ cookbook Nadiya’s Bake me a Festive Story both published in 2018. Nadiya also writes for the BBC Good Food Magazine, writes a weekly column for the Times and makes regular appearances at cookery events throughout the UK. She was named in the BBC’s 2016 100 most Influential Women List.

Bravely, Nadiya has spoken about her constant struggle with a panic disorder, saying her "whole life revolves around not falling apart". In a one-off documentary entitled Nadiya Anxiety and Me, Nadiya highlighted mental health problems by setting out to find the cause of her anxiety, exploring the most effective, available treatments.
