Former political advisor to the Labour Party, Matt Forde has swapped his career in politics for one as an entertainer. He has two great passions in life, football and of course, politics. Perhaps not surprisingly he specializes in pro-politics comedy.

Matt’s comedy career really took off as a result of his Edinburgh fringe show Eyes to the Right, Nose to the Left. This led to his hugely successful Political Party, a sell-out series of shows incorporating topical stand-up comedy and interviews with prominent Westminster names including; Jack Straw, Matthew Parris and George Galloway. He has even perfected his impersonation of Ed Miliband!

A writer for a number of topical current affairs shows, Matt’s credits include; Russell Howard’s Good News, 8 Out of 10 Cats and stand Up for The Week.

On television, he can regularly be seen on show programmes as The News Quiz, The Now show and Have I Got News For You. He has also presented. The Sports Party on Radio TalkSport, regularly reviews the newspapers for Sky News and contributes on ITV’s evening news.

Matt is available as a presenter, awards host, after dinner speaker, stand-up comedy and music.
