Mark Foster’s phenomenally successful swimming career spanned 3 decades on the international scene winning a total of 47 medals. Since retiring from competitive sport, Mark has firmly established himself as a regular presenter for such events as the Olympic Games, FINA World Championships and swimming events in general. An accomplished motivational and inspirational speaker, Mark tackles issues at a grass roots level. On a lighter note, he is a regular participant in a variety of television programmes such as; A Question of Sport, Come Dine With Me, Celebrity Masterchef and also enjoyed a memorable period on Strictly Come Dancing.

One of Britain’s most successful swimmers, Mark first came to the public eye in 1986 when, at the Commonwealth Games, he made his international swimming debut for England at the age of 16. During his aquatic career which spanned 23 years, he became a five time Olympian, World, European and Commonwealth Champion and holder of eight world records making him Britain’s most decorated male swimmer. In 2008 Mark was chosen to be the flag bearer at the Beijing Olympics leading Team GB out at the opening ceremony.
Since retiring from the pool, Mark has moved into the media world becoming a familiar face on television. He struck up an award-winning partnership alongside Clare Balding when the two co-presented from the aquatic centre during the 2012 London Olympics and recently co-hosted the BBC coverage of the World Swimming Championships alongside Gabby Logan in Barcelona. Just two of his numerous sporting media roles.
In addition to his presenting credits, Mark has appeared on a variety of television shows such as; Countdown, A Question of Sport, Celebrity Masterchef, Come Dine With Me and Strictly Come Dancing, later taking part in the live tour.
Passionate about fitness and healthy living, Mark is a long standing brand ambassador as well as having had an involvement with numerous charity shows and campaigns. He also aspires to help young people through his swimming academy.
A popular choice on the corporate circuit, Mark is an accomplished motivational speaker and is also available for corporate golf days, personal appearances and awards hosting and presenting.
