Julia enjoys a highly successful media career as a television presenter, specializing in documentaries and consumer interest programmes. Although she has presented programmes on a variety of topics  she remains best known for her work on travel, the outdoors and environmental issues.

She is perhaps best known for co-presenting and revamping BBC One’s Countryfile alongside Matt Baker which earned her the title “Lady of the Lakes”  while other credits include, Planet Earth, Watchdog, Fightback Britain, Animal Roadshow, Best Walks With a View, Famous, Rich and Homeless, Keeping Britain Safe, Climb for Britain, Britain’s Best Walks, Greek Islands With Julia Bradbury and Britain’s Greatest National Treasures.

Julia also harbors a passion for outdoor sports and has presented the Powerboat Championships for Channel 4, Superbikes, Speedway Grand Prix, The Real Car Meeting and the Goodwood 76th Members Meeting for ITV, covering the Goodward Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. 

Away from presenting, since working on the programme Famous, Rich and Homeless, Julia has become a staunch supporter of The Big Issue and plight of the homeless, is a committed Ambassador for Keep Britain Tidy, patron of numerous charities including; The National Trust, Prostate Cancer UK, LOROS (Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice), The Scouts, The Commonwealth Walkway Trust and is proud to be the first female President of The Camping and Caravanning Club. 

She has a number of publications to her name most of which compliment her series Best Wlaks.
