Rated as one of the best boxers in the world, Joe was undefeated during his professional career having won 32 of his fights by knockout. His worthy opponents across WBO Super Middleweight and Light Heavyweight included; Chris Eubank, Jeff Lacy and Roy Jones Jr. He retired from the ring in 2009 becoming only the tenth undefeated World Champion in history.

Joe Calzaghe aka The Pride of Wales, is a member of an elite group of boxers who can claim to be an undefeated world champion.

Joe started boxing at the age of nine, going on to win four schoolboy ABA titles followed by three consecutive senior British ABA titles in the early 90’s. Turning professional in 1993, Joe fought in both the super middle-weight and light heavy-weight divisions. In 1993 he became British Champion and beat Chris Eubank on a unanimous points decision to take the world title four years later. In all, Joe competed in 46 fights throughout his career, winning every bout, 32 of which were knockouts.

Following retirement from the ring in 2009, Joe founded his own boxing promotions company, Calzaghe Promotions along with his father Enzo and carved a successful career form himself as an after dinner speaker. 

In his speeches, Joe highlights the finer details of the sport. He also draws comparisons between competitive sport and the business world using anecdotes from his career. Compelling and engaging, topics covered include; performance and consistency, achieving ambitions, tackling problems and performing under pressure.

Now a celebrity in every sense, Joe has made a number of television appearances on such shows as Stella and Strictly Come Dancing
