A former Welsh international gymnast, Gabby Logan began her broadcasting career on radio in 1992 and joined Sky Sports in 1996, where she quickly established herself as a football presenter. 

First joining ITV in 1998 to front On The Ball, her nine year period at the channel saw Gabby’s repertoire expand with presenting credits including; the World Cup, Champions League and Premiership coverage as well as the Boat Race and sports news reporting. In 2004 she co-hosted Sport Relief with Gary Lineker for the BBC, before joining the corporation in 2007.

Dedicated and professional with the reputation of having a fantastic sense of humour, Gabby is now one of the UK’s premier broadcasters.

As a key member of the BBC’s presentation team, Gabby has covered such notable events as the London 2012 Olympics, travelled with the England football squad reporting on the European Championships from Poland and the Ukraine and broadcast from the South Africa World Cup. She has fronted BBC3’s coverage of the Women’s World Cup, Match of The Day and the Football results-based show Final Score. 

Add to this presenting for The Six Nations and the Autumn Rugby Internationals, World Swimming Championships and the monthly programme Inspire: The Olympic Journey and you have an

integral face of BBC Sport. 

Other hosting credits include; a live daily show on Channel 5, LIVE with Gabby Logan, the One Show again for the BBC, Inside Sport, The Invictus Games and Sports Personality of the Year.

Away from the sports desk, in January 2013, Gabby co-presented the hugely successful Splash! for ITV. The programme saw celebrities trained by Great Britain’s diving sensation Tom Daley compete against one another for a place in a live diving final and was watched by 6.5m people. In the summer of the same year Gabby also presented the comedy panel show I Love My Country for BBC One.

Aside from presenting, Gabby can also lay claim to having been a regular columnist for The Times, The Sunday Mirror, The Independent, Waitrose Weekend and the Yorkshire Post.

Currently a patron of the Disabilities Trust, Prince’s Trust and Great Ormond Street, Gabby is also a vice president of Sparks. She lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband and two children
