With almost 7 million twitter followers and over 4 million Instagram fans, there is no disputing Ant and Dec’s popularity. Since first breaking into show business on the children’s series Byker Grove, multi-award-winning Anthony McPartlin OBE and Declan Donnelly OBE have enjoyed major success both in the world of pop music and television presenting. Lifelong best friends, other early credits include, Gimme 5, The Ant and Dec Show, Ant and Dec Unzipped and the hugely popular SM:TV Live. 2002 saw the launch of two of what have proved to be the duo’s most successful series to date; Saturday Night Takeaway and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Further career highlights followed with Britain’s Got Talent and a new US game show, Wanna Bet hosted by the boys.

In 2016 they were honoured to be given unprecedented access to HRH The Prince of Wales for the documentary When Ant and Dec Met The Prince:40 Years of The Princes Trust.

Later in the same year, they hosted The Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration all of which ultimately led, in part, to them receiving OBE”s for their achievements to date. 

As a result of their record-breaking number of consecutive National Television Award wins, 2019 saw them inducted into the Guinness Book of Records. The year also saw them complete their DNA journey on the documentary Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey allowing them unique insight into their ancestry and revealing they are in fact, distant cousins!
