One of the UKs’ best-loved entertainers, David Walliams attended The National Youth Theatre spawning a successful working partnership with Matt Lucas. Together they created the highly acclaimed mock interview series Rock Profile before becoming known to millions in the hugely successful comedy series Little Britain, which proved equally popular on both side of the Atlantic. Their follow-up series, Come Fly With Me, a mockumentary based on the busy everyday life of a fictional airport, was also very well received enjoying a popular run. 

David’s comic and acting talents have also seen him star in fil and theatre both in comedy and dramatic roles including; the title role of Frankie Howerd in Frankie Howerd:Rather You Than Me, Pinter’s No Man’s Land, Dickens Great Expectations and Agatha Christie’s Partners In Crime as well as making appearances on such series as Doctor Who, Eastenders, Neighbours and Spaced in addition to fronting documentaries on Roald Dahl and James Bond. 

Today, he is instantly recognised as one of the four judges on the popular UK talent show, Britain’s Got Talent.

If that were not enough, David has gone on to achieve great success as a children’s author publishing such novels as; Gangsta Granny, Ratburger, Mr Stink, Fing, The World’s Worst Children, Slime and many more.  

Away from entertainment, David has undertaken a number of dangerous and gruelling challenges in the name of charity. To date he has raised over two million pounds for his chosen causes having swum the English Channel for Comic Relief, the Straits of Gibraltar and 140 mile stretch of the River Thames in the Big Splash Challenge for Sport Relief. He even managed to save a drowning dog on the way!
