BAFTA and multi Award-Winning Clare is a television and radio presenter whose career has seen her broadcast across a variety of programmes incorporating everything from horseracing and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, to Trooping the Colour, The Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Crufts and Ramblings on Radio 4. She has also presented her own show, The Clare Balding Show on BT Sport, Clare is a leading campaigner for women’s sports and a best-selling author.

Clare Balding is one of Britain's leading broadcasters having worked in the media since leaving university and has been presenting sports on television since becoming the face of the BBC’s racing output in 1998. She has subsequently worked on numerous Olympic, Paralympic and Winter Olympic Games, along with continuing to present other sport related programmes across various channels, the culmination of which to date has been her own show on BT Sport.

In fact, Clare can turn her hand to presenting any sport - from racing to rugby league, swimming, golf or tennis. She is equally at home on radio or TV and is renowned for her versatility and reliability.

Clare has been part of many BAFTA Award-winning programmes, has been named RTS Sports Presenter of the Year, Sports Presenter of the Year at the TRIC Awards, Racing Journalist of the Year, awarded the Special Achievement Award at the Women in Film and Television awards for her work on the Olympics and Paralympics and been praised for “perfect presentation” by the judges of the Broadcast Awards. 

She has also been honoured for her presenting with awards from Attitude Magazine, Red Magazine, Tatler and the Horserace Writers Association. 

In short, she has a proven track record of creative input and practical effort in every programme on which she has ever worked including; regularly hosting Sports Personality of the Year and Wimbledon, reporting for The One Show and fronting the documentary Icons, a programme on sporting legends.

Radio credits include BBC Radio 4’s programme Ramblings which she has presented since beginning her BBC career as a trainee. 

A great animal lover, she has also presented Crufts for the BBC and More4. She has worked on Britain's Hidden Heritage and Countryfile and as the host of BBC1’s ‘Britain’s Brightest’.

A bestselling author, Clare's first book, My Animals and Other Family was published in 2012. Based on her childhood growing up in an unusual household, it was published to critical acclaim and went onto win biography of the year at the National Book Awards.

Clare is an expert at live major event presentation, such as the Diamond Jubilee, the Lord Mayor’s Show or Trooping the Colour, but she also has an uncanny knack of getting the most out of interview subjects - as illustrated by her work on Radio 2’s ‘Good Morning Sunday’. She is an experienced host of awards ceremonies, a lively and amusing after dinner speaker and an authoritative voiceover artist
