Recognised as the most successful sailor in Olympic history, Ben has competed in and won medals at five Olympic Games taking part in the Laser and Finn Classes. He has won no less than 11 World Sailing Championships with other accolades including World Sailor of the Year on four occasions and winner of the America’s Cup. Highly experienced as a keynote speaker, Sir Ben discusses the importance of physicality, skill strategy and technique in addition to sharing his Olympic experiences.

Sir Ben Ainslie is the most successful sailor in Olympic history, he has competed and medalled at five Olympic games. At just nineteen year’s old he won his first Olympic silver medal in Atlanta 1996. In the years that followed Ben went on to win Gold at the next four consecutive Olympic Games including London 2012.

Eager to turn his hand to the America’s Cup, the oldest international sporting trophy in history, Ainslie joined Team New Zealand as tune-up helmsman in 2005. In 2013 he joined Oracle Team USA, winning the America’s Cup. Ben is relentless in pursuing his ambition to bring the America’s Cup back to Britain, where it all started back in 1851. He formed INEOS TEAM UK, the British Challenger for the America’s Cup, in 2018 with the ultimate goal set in sight, to bring the America’s Cup back to Britain in 2021.
