Andrew Strauss led the England cricket team to Ashes glory in 2009 and compounded the year by becoming England’s player of the series, top run scorer for 2009 and sports personality of the year nominee. Already well experienced in the art of corporate speaking, Andrew’s presentations reflect the highs and lows of his career in top class cricket with an emphasis on leadership, team-work and motivation.

Former England Cricket Captain Sir Andrew Strauss is heralded as one of the most talented and successful cricketers of all time, having led the team to their first Ashes series win in Australia for 24 years. In all he played 100 Test matches for his country, 50 as captain. By the end of his Test career, Andrew had scored over 7,000 runs including 21 hundreds making him one of the top 10 English scoring opening batsmen in history and one of just 3 captains to lead his country to Ashes success both on home soil and in Australia. In addition to Test cricket, Andrew also made 127 appearances for the ODI team.

Among his many accolades Andrew can include being nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award 2009, being made a Freeman of the City of London and of course twice being honoured by The Queen for his services to the sport.

Andrew retired from the competitive game in 2012 and is currently Chair of the England and Wales Cricket Committee.
