Olympian Amy Williams returned from the Vancouver Winter Games as Britain’s first solo woman champion in 58 years, having won the Gold Medal in the skeleton bobsleigh. She is now in major demand in the media for personal appearances, interviews and as a corporate speaker for her inspiring story. In the media, Amy has established herself as an accomplished presenter most notably as co-presenter for the Ski Sunday team, The Gadget Show and The Jump, both for Channel 4.

Amy Williams began her sporting career as a 400 metre runner but won the hearts of the nation at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver when she became the first woman solo champion for 30 years taking the Gold Medal in the single Skeleton. She was made the first ever Vice President of the sport in 2013.

When injury forced her into retirement just two years later, Amy joined the BBC presenting team becoming a guest presenter on Ski Sunday.

In 2014 she became mentor to Team GB in addition to being a member of the BBC presenting team, heading off to Socchi for the Winter Olympics where she specialized in commentating on the skeleton, luge and bobsleigh. Upon her return Amy was immediately approached to become a present on Channel 5’s Gadget Show where she replaced Rachel Riley.

Ever the adventurer Amy also starred in Alone in the Wild, was third in ITV’s 71 Degrees North and has even turned her hand to rally driving, co-driving with Tony Jardine and qualifying for her co-drivers rally license.

Popular on the corporate circuit, Amy is an inspiring and accomplished speaker with an interesting story to tell and she is frequently in demand to host a variety of events.

Recently, Amy launched the Skeleton Experience in connection with Momentum Ski, offering taylor made holiday and weekend breaks, incorporating opportunities to try skeleton and bobsleigh under Amy’s expert guidance.

When not working Amy’s passions include; horses, painting and creative art.
