Graduating from a fine art degree course with honours,
Laurence joined the Harefield Group of companies
specialising in the design and manufacture of industrial
flooring before moving to Peter Leonard Associates, an
interior design company. Ultimately he has enjoyed much
popularity in the television series Changing Rooms, The Holiday Programme
and to The Manor Bowen.
